eyeQUERY - similar profiles search
eyeQUERY is an application that allows to create a database of profiles (dies, moulds, etc.) offered by the producer, an independent customer query database, and graphic searches for similar elements in each database.
A client query for a specific profile (received by fax or email as a graphic file, a technical drawing, or just a sketch drawn by hand on a piece of paper) is first processed graphically for quick definition of contours of the profile, so that in no time at all the application can find profiles that are closest to the desired one to present them on the screen, together with additional information or to display similar queries other clients have made.
The two databases can communicate and exchange information as well. New elements can also be entered into the database, and the results can be filtered according to referred search criteria.
